Mom Prom is a national charity that encourages women to raise money for local nonprofits,  In Waycross over the last five years MomProm has raised over  $100,000 for Bethesda Recovery

Mom Prom Waycross 2024 is scheduled for March 2,  6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at CC McCray Auditorium.

The Mom Prom Waycross Facebook page has hundreds of followers.

Community members nominate women from the area to be the queen.  Each contestant begins to raise money for Bethesda Recovery through various avenues.  The one who raises the most money is crowned queen of the event.
